Maryland Technology Enterprise Institute VentureAccelerator

VentureAccelerator is a hands-on consulting, mentoring and resources program for innovations through new venture formation. VentureAccelerator assists faculty and student entrepreneurs in assessing the commercial feasibility of research, charting a plan for a new venture and initiating the launch of such ventures by assisting with capital formation, entry into incubation programs and management team building.

The goal of VentureAccelerator is to bring experienced business managers and capital to fledgling companies with innovative concepts. The program works with select, high-potential companies, ensuring each venture a high degree of attention and support. Companies are expected to remain in the program until demonstrating self-sustain-ability—usually evidenced by a significant institutional investment, customer engagement or licensing arrangement.

Administered by the Maryland Technology Enterprise Institute (MTECH)
