Aerospace Supply Chains Globalization & Innovation
27th and 28th of November 2012 Conference and Exhibition
Congress Center Hamburg (CCH)
Conference Hotel: Radisson Blu Hotel
“Globalization” and “Innovation” are two main challenges of the Aviation industry. The sustained dynamic of the emerging markets in Asia and the Middle East continue to drive our entire industry from the airlines to the supply chain. While we see global competition arrive continuous innovation is more important than ever. Airbus has always very successfully pursued both globalization and innovation. Airbus’s recent decision to launch a final assembly line for the A320 family in Mobile, Alabama, confirms the importance of a global presence.
The AVIATION FORUM 2012 will take place on the 27th and 28th of November in Hamburg, Germany. The topic is “Aerospace Supply Chains: Globalization and Innovation“. The Key issues: “Globalized Supply Chains: Optimization of sourcing and logistics in a network of global assembly sites“, “Innovation dynamics and flexible Aerospace Supply Chains” and “Mass Production in the Aerospace Industry: Strategy of Success!“ will be discussed during the two days.
The first conference day hosts seven workshops with the opening of the accompanying exhibition in the early afternoon. An Airbus plant tour at Finkenwerder or a tour to Kuehne + Nagel’s Airbus Logistics Center precedes the official opening of the conference in the morning. Fourteen top level presentations will be held on the second day.
Mr. Michimasa Fujino, President & CEO of Honda Aircraft Company will be the dinner speaker, who will present the HondaJet story.
In 2011 the AVIATION FORUM offered more than 360 participants access to best practice know how on the aircraft industry and professional networking opportunities. Approximately 500 attendees are expected in 2012. |
