The 11th Wing, Joint Base Andrews, plans to host the 2013 Joint Base Andrews Summit on Tues, 5 Feb 2013, at The General Jacob E. Smart Center. They are excited about this opportunity and the continued partnership with the local small business community. The goal of this summit is to bring together small businesses in an open forum to discuss positive strategies for industry and Joint Base Andrews. Also, the summit will provide an opportunity for contractor/vendor outreach and networking with contracting officials from 11th Contracting Squadron and other buying activities on Andrews. Rather than having the traditional vendor booths at this year’s summit, they are planning on a combination of presentations and the networking/breakout sessions with functional areas from across the installation.
